Cheers for the info. I'm not too sure about the melting plastic thing - I'd rather just have a few very light scratches myself!

Yeah, that's what I thought too at first, but they just kept adding up.

But it's not like it melts it to the point you can see it mushing around. It's just to the microscopic point. Buffing it afterwards with the dry cloth still leaves it shiny like new.

Oh oh, seems the bandwith has been used up on the freewebs site. Ya'll can go to www.psphacks.net to see the same article. It should be the first article on the homepage. If not, it's one of the recent ones.

I mentioned to the forum not long before the PSP launch in the US that, under harsh artificial light, the PSP's black areas did not show up too well at all. These "micro scratches" or "cloth scores" as I call them, simply cannot be helped ... unless of course you decide to simply not clean your PSP, but who'd be mad enough not to clean up that gorgeous little machine!?

My screen, thankfully, has always been covered with a screen guard, so my screen is in perfect condition ... but the black areas around the d-pad, analogue nub, and "shape" buttons are covered with these cloth scores. In natural daylight and normal room conditions, you barely notice them, but you know they are there.

Got it yesterday. The Displex polish. Took the scratch away. But did leave a little permanent haze on it. little bit was applied. I didnt do my whole screen.

all in all. Im happy. Only in a certain angle with it off. Is when you can see it.
