DVD to PSP

Just got my PSP for X-Mas the other day. I've spent the last hour or so reading up about putting movies on the MS and there couldn't find an answer for this...

There are a few programs out there for managing and converting DVD to PSP such as Video Vault and PSP Movie Creator. They cost money and I didn't want to jump in and purchase them until I got some feedback from some experienced PSP users. I didn't see any mention of them of the forum so I thought I would ask.

you didnt search very good infact the topic right under this one has the answer but im in a good mood go here and download pspvideo 9 to convert movies after you get em to the hard drive

I'm in a good mood so I won't go off on a rant about searching.

Yeah, read all about that. I'm talking about one program that will take the movie off the DVD and put it on the PSP. I have not found anyone commenting on any of them. Everything I've read involves using one program to rip from the DVD and then another to do the PSP converstion. The programs I mentioned advertise that they do both but I wanted to know if anyone had any experience with them.

hey bob sinse foriegn psp's cant play american umd's... what if i bought an america dvd and saved it to my hard drive, then used video9 and then put it onto my japenies psp? would it still work like an american one?
